Re: The Ski Lite / XCD thread
Fk Mike..on newer ski and boots , it's all the same..'cept you initiate in the inverted position and you lead is inverted across the hill..shit..strap on freeheels and just initiate turns normally and finish in a tele..then initiate from the inverted (stupid) position and finish in a tele.. all the same.just doin things ass-backwards..
Carving in tight trees ? Get the fuck out!
Master your skis or they will rule you! jump , step, stem, slide, bank or carve..Rule your skis!

I wasn't attempting to carve trees or bumps. My 'carving' skis were harder to skid than the mogul skis I used to enjoy skidding around on.

See what I mean? Reading comprehension. I got that you were saying that your carving skis were harder to ski in trees and bumps, Ravingtele(I like that) read "carving in tight trees". WTF? Ron is a smart guy but he's always so busy trying to display his brilliance that he doesn't really understand or care what others are trying to communicate.MikeK wrote:I wasn't attempting to carve trees or bumps. Then he throws out some random video link that is totally nonsensical like it's some brilliant thing and we are all too stupid to understand his genius.

Conny,Does anyone know WTF ragingteles point is? I dont think he can read very well either. Or carry on a civil conversation.
Sorry about that, there should be a FAQ section about Ron. This is Ron's thread, there's no use trying to argue or trying to make sense out of it. Just see it as purely entertainment.
This thread is not patrolled, skiers should enter at their own risk...

Ravinglunacy, your scripted response when cornered is to dare people to come ski with you. You know this will never happen. Even if Mt. Spokane/Ski Lookout had the most snow in the world right now people wouldn't travel to ski there, just like they wouldn't travel to ski any of the other dozens of small hills in the intermountain west. It's kind of a last resort cop out and it's a bit disappointing coming from a man of your obvious genius.
Say, why don't you come on down and ski Bluewood with me on Saturday and give me a free clinic in advanced telemark technique?

Re: The Ski Lite / XCD thread
Too bad. I think there is lots of skiers interested in conversation about XCD including myself. I think its the only way tele will ultimately survive and theres lots of great equipment out there old and new for XCD on both the light and heavy end of the spectrum. Plus anyone from the west east midwest can get into it without the need for big mountains or all-star skills. I dont think anyone wants to come into this thread and contribute for fear of being bitten by the resident monster that lurks and lashes out from the bowels of this site. I mentioned a couple tips that might help depraventele ski a little better in his video making mention of a little bit of carving and the whole place blows up with his rage towards tele carving. Can we have a ravingtele-free XCD thread that he wont come shit in? I doubt it.LoveJohnny wrote:Conny,Does anyone know WTF ragingteles point is? I dont think he can read very well either.
