Those superloops worked well enough, but are somewhat fragile and unreliable, as the cable tensioning mechanism, (those red plastic gears), is prone to breakage. I'd not want to rely on them for any extended period of time, i.e. a long backcountry tour or a vacation at a resort. If you buy a pair, I'd buy a second pair and always have it along with tools in your pack, or at least in the car trunk if you're riding lifts.

Not a good sign when it’s only $20 on Geartrade…
From the post on Geartrade : PRODUCT INFORMATION

A bunch of random parts if you need to do some repairs or make your own tele binding.

What I understand is that this is not a usable binding... might explain the price ;)

Or that there are 4 toe brackets and NO USABLE PLASTIC parts…. It’s a binding, seems to me they could have had it made from something stronger, like cast aluminum.

"Those superloops worked well enough, but are somewhat fragile and unreliable"

It was kind of progressive in it's day, but didn't have a long run. I recall doing a lot of repairs on those, they were falling apart 20 years ago.
