Re: Older? Asnes Nansen 200cm in Concord, NH
Ohhh, that is kinda tempting.
I'm in Concord NH as well, and already have an unhealthy number of skis, but nothing waxable in this width.
I should probably feel the flex of the ski before deciding, though

I don't suppose I could talk you into shipping them to Seattle?
I don't need the bindings.
Thanks

These are kinda old skis and shipskis.com says $90. Plus handling.
If you know a cheaper way or need to have these. LMK
Cheers

If riel passes I’m interested! I saw these come through Craigslist and was bummed when I missed out the first time!
Re: Older? Asnes Nansen 200cm in Concord, NH
Maybe I should get your opinion on them first.
I'm looking for a ski between my skate and classic race skis and my AT gear for long'ish day trips on logging roads and ungroomed by somewhat packed down trails. I bought a pair of Madshus metal edged 50mm waist skis. Fast in a straight line but the tip was absurdly floppy and no edge control downhill or ability to skate flat sections. It it easier to edge my 44mm classic race skis. I'm not looking for sidecut as much as a smoother flex and some torsional rigidity.
I suppose, since I'm in Washington state, I maybe should try a non-wax base. But I have always hated them. I kinda like klister....
Thanks
