I have no idea how the Storetind will measure out. I can say that on the Falketind 62, I found balance point. I then measured chord center (the tail is heavily rockered) chord center came out on balance point of both skis, to the mm. I then turned the ski over, to see that also is the most narrow point of the waist...

That coincide's with what I've been trying to say in a couple of these posts lately. Sometimes, they're all the same, and the manufacturer probably has a clue as to why.

So- I got a response from Asnes- they recommend mounting at balance point.
Boot center or pin line at balance point?

Edit: nevermind, I saw you answered that question. Pin lines on balance point. I assume that still applies to the Rabb 68.

Yes- Asnes is still recommending balance point on the Rabb 68 for a Nordic touring binding (75mm/NNNBC/XP)-
they do have a boot-center mark though for a downhill binding-boot mount.
Cross-country AND down-hill skiing in the backcountry.
Unashamed to be a "cross-country type" and love skiing down-hill.
