Ripstick 96's?

Post by phoenix » Sat Nov 16, 2024 6:35 pm

Bought a pass for the mountain (Jay Peak) this season, after about 3 lift served days in about 10 years (just a bad work schedule for skiing and high cost of passes). I'm thinking it might be a good time to up my all mountain skis, since I'm that much older and slower and want to feel solid at speed and in crud. Tempted by a pair of Ripstick 96's, as I've read so many glowing reviews of them for years now. Anyway my question is, for those who've skied 'em, about length, as in any advice to go longer, shorter, or ski your usual length in these? TIA
