Favorite Skis: Any ski suitable for telemark or backcountry skiing, with some side-cut for turning.
Favorite boots: Scarpa plastic telemark. Asolo and Alfa leather boots.

And for completeness, Finnmark and Breidablikk comes in both wax and waxless versions, both with Skinlock. Breidablikk also comes in a Husky variant where the only difference is the top sheet. They do not show up on the English pages, so here is a Norwegian one: https://www.asnes.com/produkt/breidablikk-husky-wl/

Edit: Husky also comes in both wax and waxless, if it was not fully clear from the above.

…although they’d be a useful tool if a guy got into dog walking as a second (or even main) career. People in SouthEast BC make good $$$ doing that.
