Woooaaw...! Nice pics Mike! Super-nice camping spots...!
You'd be happy there... Full time, in your hand-hewn log cabin...

So Johnny, you gonna come with me on a trip? I know if I go skiing with you you'll push me down something way harder than I can handle
Hmm... hand-hewn eh? Sounds like a lot of work. I'm worried that if I live in the mountains again I won't appreciate them as much. It happened once before when I lived there.

What it looks like carrying a boat - I do this A LOT (Connery Pond):
Connery Pond near Whiteface Mtn:
Rustic but not wilderness (Connery Pond):
Ski recon from the boat - too steep for me (Long Pond - a different Long Pond):

My BIL rockin' a pack canoe (carry between Little Clear and St. Regis Ponds):
On the water - it's a like a short kayak with no deck, weighs like 16lbs:

Even kids like boats (Canadice Lake):
It helps to have a boat slave to carry your boat for you though:

Sorry for the insane amount of pictures haha - but you can tell where my mind is.
I feel kinda like someone else I know posting a bunch of pictures to a thread like this... yikes...
I hope I get this excited about next ski season... yeah I will... I'll be trying to ski on grass and rocks by November I have a lot of new ideas for next year, just need the snow.

haha - that's odd, I figured you would be against it.LoveJohnny wrote: Unfortunately for me, I don't like carrying stuff... I much prefer helicanoeing...
As crazy as it sounds, there is something like that - usually float plane canoeing but they use helo's as well. Basically drop you out as far away from anything as possible and let you make your way home.
I'll show you where it is, it's not far from you actually.LoveJohnny wrote: I need to go there!!!
