Enjoyed the video: Looks like some really nice snow and terrain (with tight turns in the trees). You guys looked pretty fearless in those trees. Since I live in Montana you won't have to be concerned about me poaching your powder stash or dream run.

Bri7, once again, great vid. And while I understand the hesitation of sharing a "secret stash", as a possible future beneficiary of this info I sure do appreciate it. From the looks of the video I have a feeling Eons + Alaskas may not be quite enough?

My friend and I went last weekend and had a great time. It's a network of backcountry XC trails with a couple of nice huts and some fun hills. The area I marked "FUN" had a nice gentle slope with nicely spaced trees for doing some turns. Did a couple of laps and would definitely go back. I should have taken some pics.

We went from the chateau bleu parking up to cap beauséjour and then along the catherine to the refuge de l'alpage. I was on Eons + Alaskas which were good for both the flats + the hills. I look forward to exploring the more western trails next time.

The Mont Catherine have an interesting story. Trails were cut in the 80-90 by Oswald Lingat and a chairlift was installed. It never opened but trails can still be seen by the highway 15. Now the place is own and operated by tyro parc. They have a few hiking trails and the mountain has a lot of potential. It can probably be skied. I have been there during the summer but never during the winter.

I have heard of Gillespie this summer but never went so far. It looks very nice for some XC skiing. Bring your camera next time Or invite me, i'll make a video of the day for our friend down south

Wow, I didn't know that about Catherine. Speaking of Oswald, I learned to ski at 4 yrs old on mont Alta.
