Ah, I did not think of that.

Any particular type of glue I am supposed to use?
Goop is good, stays flexible when cold, waterproof, recommended by Altai, woodglue OK, but brittle in the cold, I don't think it works well actually.

Thanks for all the info.

I seem to have done it successfully. Metal loop things are a bit bigger than I needed, but only size avalible, and they work fine. Bought some snowboard leashes that strap around ankle, and everything seems to work. Time to test these out soon!
