Great find Al!
He's on the Rotts too. What a sweet binding. I love my Cobras. I'm collecting parts now. I wish the Cobra Free made it to production...
Remember Nagano when he blew through two safety nets and then won gold three days later? What a monster. Unreal.

I don't remember the details but I remember he made an impression on me. Pretty nice carving though.

Re: Ski Movies
oh man,
that one of herman maeier and the birds was awesome. i watched it the other morning and it was great to hear german again. i was able to follow most of what the narrator said in hoch deutcsh, but when they spoke to those bavarians i couldn't make out a word!
i had 2 sightings of the the eisvogel, or the blue european kingfisher, when i was living there. the second time was high summer, way out in the country when i was cycling across germany. i was by a little stream with a cool old stone bridge having a safety meeting, when out from under the bridge swooped this bird, and when it turned hard it flashed a brilliant iridescent blue...just like a blue strobe light went off right in front of me. awesome little bird that i got to watch for a good 20 minutes swoop around in front of me. i'll never forget that.
anyway, if you haven't watched that one, i give it two thumbs up!!
