Been reading through this thread several times now. I think I’ll keep my eyes open for sales on the Nansen, maybe see if I can pick up a set used. I’d lean towards the WL but if a waxer comes up at the right price I’d jump on it.

In some ways the old designs are best- because they are just so versatile-
the Nansen just works- in all contexts.
(Just as the Amundsen does in a XC context.)
At long lengths the Nansen offers decent XC and downhill performance in all snow conditions-
I have a 185 Nansen BC- at this length, this ski is a wicked carving ski.
