I'm always yammering on about this place, and always trying to get new people to go because it's such a gem. I'm taking a new friend this weekend and I'm excited.

And even if you don't have your own skis or just want to try, you can borrow them from Boonville Search and Rescue:BREIA is a not-for-profit corporation funded by a private family foundation, as a gift to the people of New York. Access to the trails and facilities is free, and donations are never accepted. The trails remain open throughout the year, and offer hiking and biking opportunities during the warm seasons.
BREIA does not rent equipment. You can rent skis and snowshoes at the Boonville Search and Rescue hut located at the far right side of the Tops Plaza on Route 12 in Boonville. Warming Hut will be open from 10 am - 4 pm Saturday and Sunday. Your driver's license is required as a deposit and a $5 donation to Search and Rescue is greatly appreciated.
