SCAM / FRAUD Websites -- PSA

I have come across several fraudulent websites lately.
All outdoor sports related (but have to think the trend is broader than that).
I haven't seen this type of thing until fairly recently.

Some have prices that are clearly TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
Other times, the product price seems really good, but not too good.

Every time I've checked the "Contact Us" info, the address listed actually belongs to another legitimate business, there's no Phone Number listed, and their "About Us" info reads pretty much like this:

"What We Do
We recognize that our longevity as a growing business depends on the satisfaction of our loyal customers.
To best serve our employees, community, and world, bdoutdoorstore.com is committed to the progress of sustainability within our business practices. With consistent evaluation and attention, we are proud to have brought on changes that have an emphasis on renewable energy, recycling, and beyond.

We strive to exceed our customer’s needs and expectations with simplicity and excellence while providing exceptional and friendly customer service.

And most importantly… your total satisfaction… 100% of the time."

Whenever I want to order something from a website that I'm not familiar with I usually look it up on google to make sure an actual location shows up. I then usually either call or send an email with some basic question to make sure I get a legitimate response. If it passes both of these tests, I know I'm just getting a good deal and not scammed.
