There was a nice pair of (Fat!) Fischer Hobaks on ebay the other day... While looking for info, I stumbled upon this ad... I thought it was funny enough to post here... I guess it must be from the early 90's when short skis became cool...

I think I had a pair of those - maybe not that exact model, but they were ultra short skate skis. I hated them.
