I think we need a new thread i.e "How to XCD on Pin Bindings"..
But it seems to me that it would be redundant in your part of the world..

Yeah, highly likely.

Yes, I found that working on my thread was totally waste of time.
Because 3-pin is the absolute king of the world, anything else must be totally junk.
I'm thinking to close my thread anytime soon.

Even I would gladly learn the whole NNN/BC thing, but really it's a question of what to spend $$$ on!
But, it seems many(especially over there) Tele with just about the same technique irrespective of gear, so I'll settle for learning your method. :D I do think that skiing (about any) lighter gear makes skiing heavier stuff much easier.

Honestly, you totally got me. You and your vids will be the main reason I'll switch to NNN next season...

Birkenstocks.
I used to wear Birkenstocks all the time. I found that they were severely limiting my ability to do anything outdoors except play guitar, smoke pot and drink beer.

I threw them away and bought a new pair of backpacking boots and never looked back.

Did the exact same experimentation several years ago. And I came to the very same conclusion. Threw them away and bought a pair of five fingers...

But I still think Birks would make the ultimate telemark binding for true hardcore skiers... 8-)
