mohair skins, favourites?

mohair skins, favourites?

I've done some web, forum searching - but I have limited (mobile) web access so I'm sorry if this is an oft asked question

Ive been on some BD nylons - they're bomber and grip like hell - but they're also bulky and slow, good for BC use but I do a lot of "resort uphilling" and they are so.slow., do not really glide at all. been wanting to pick up a set of mohairs but I'm not sure what's good.

contour, pomoca, coltex, BD ?? anyone have preferences? pomocas come in cool colours..are they decent?

Slightly off topic, but instead of skins, have you considered a waxless ski (ChargerBC/VectorBC/V6BC/Stinger/Koms,etc)? They are much lighter than a ski/skin combo, much easier to switch between climbing and skiing, and in some situations and snow, they can grip pretty darned well!
