Scotty Bobs
I am thinking of buying a pair, any advice, good or bad?
If I do, which model? I am 10st / 5'10", mainly tour in Scotland, though I have skis for that. I would see the SottyBobs for more Alpine style days or piste days, and the odd holidays. He now has a rockered tip model, should I go for that?
thanks Mark

Hello Mark,
I do own a pair of scotty bob. I bought a pair of fat bastard a few weeks ago and since the ski season is almost done here i used them only twice. Unlike traditionnal ski the length of the edges are not the same on both sides. On the first turns you have to "relearn" to ski but you get used to it really quickly.
If you buy a pair of Scotty your social life will change! People will start talking to you and ask a lot of questions about the ski. Pesonaly I don't mind but for some it can get harassing.
I'm sorry i can't help with length and model, i'm still a newbie. Definetely a cool ski to have in your quiver!

The solution to that is to soil your pants and talk to yourself in low angry tones....

I have been skiing Scotty Bobs since the HeadRush was released. Now am skiing a custom design and could not be happier. Decide what you want in a ski, call Scotty and he will create the best ski you ever have skied.
