BD Riva Z cable length. Adjustable? Different lengths?
Did these come with different cable lengths? I have pair of Outtabounds I bought with these mounted, never used as I can tell. They are the compression-spring type that only adjusts on one side. I received boots with the skis, and LO! the boots don't fit in the bindings, I've let the adjustment all the way out, unless I'm missing something really basic. These have kind of been out of production for a while so I'm wondering if I'm hosed here and need to re-binding up.

Man, it's been a while. I adjusted a pair once, so this may not be entirely accurate, but I recall using a small wrench (an open-ended one or you could use an adjustable one) on one side of the cable (I believe it's obvious because one side has a nut and the other doesn't). You loosen the nut and then there are rings that can be removed to make it bigger or added to make it smaller. This is what you have to do when you run out of room to make small adjustments, as it sounds has happened to you. But crap, it's been 6-8 years.

Great Beta. I'm going to tear this thing apart now and see what I find.

Went skiing instead of going to the shed to get my toolbox.

Ok dude, thanks for getting me off to the shed.
I just took it apart, there's nothing there but the stopper. The wire leading to the heel piece cannot be pushed through the opening in the spring either; I was hoping there would be spacers on that end, but the spring is too long so I'm assuming no adjustment possible. I don't see a possible re-routing option across the toe piece either that would give me more length (like the G3). These Outtabounds were for my buddy, I have Voile's on mine, his boot isn't that big either, size 45.

Alright, thanks for the update. Sorry it wasn't that simple or cheap.

Re: BD Riva Z cable length. Adjustable? Different lengths?
I just swapped out my Switchback X2s for some Riva II bindings fresh off ebay. I have the opposite of the problem that Wooderson described earlier. I would like more tension on the spring.
Does anyone know how I can add more spacers to the cable on this binding?
I am not sure if there is an inexpensive place to order the right part or if I am better off looking around at the home improvement store for something that could work.
