OK, OK, OK. Here it is.
You finish telemarking for the day. You walked up 800 feet and telemarked, not telefaked, down the hill with your late-1960s Madshus and mid-1970s leather boots.
On the way home you stop into your favorite bar and grab a growler of Guinness that is as good as the Guinness that the Anchor Bar in Portstewart serves or you grab a brewery-fresh growler of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Pick yer poison.
You get home and pour a pint into your favorite pint glass that you bought for $20 in Galway Ireland in 1978. You sit down in your favorite chair and listen to this song. As you listen, you take a journey to the center of your mind and understand with a sense of finality superior skiing, superior beer, and superior music.

Rituals are a pretty important way of cementing in, and reliving memories.
We don't give them enough credit.
It's very "Jungian"...especially if you're listening to Tool.
Okay. THAT may be going out on a limb, but I applaud your passion for your rituals.
Thanks for sharing.
