Re: Gear Basket
nice find on "Varuste"! a few Asnes skis and also a portal to Alfa and Lundhag boots for the USA. prices look good - Asnes Mountain Tour 51's only $200
and look at this - I believe these are the famous Peltonen hunting skis? all the way up to 270cm

Re: Gear Basket
They backed off suing everyone for past 10 years of income and tiptoed back to an area of reasonability. The boycott was pretty vocal in New England, I was surprised. Anyway, good enough for me, now.
That being said I tried to order something last week, they sent the wrong item (potatoes instead of cereal, it was so far off), then they "sent" the correct item but it was out of stock, didn't say anything but kept my money, and I had to email them a WTF email (politely) and that's when I got my refund and some credit to boot. That went to new E99's for Mrs. But man, what a cluster.

Re: Gear Basket
There are just so many different cool 75mm bindings out there. I want them all. I don't NEED them.
Someone else please buy this before I get too impulsive and buy it.
Voile Hardwire Telemark Ski binding. The original with only the heel attachment and no 3-pin bale.

has anyone ordered from Varuste? prices and shipping look good (better than REI and many US vendors) and a wider selection of Scandinavian products. any import taxes from Finland?
From there, I migrated to....

WOW!!!
Fortunately I have T-4’s
I would have been in trouble if Alico Double boots were that inexpensive. I don’t need Alico Doubles either, just a weakness for 75 mm leather boots
