
Anyway, I gave up instant for the most part. The regular oatmeal (rolled oat) only takes 2 minutes in the microwave. My wife did find some that came in it's own cup, it was high priced, for oatmeal, but it was pretty good and healthier than instant. I forget the brand but it was in the healthy isle.
Whenever I do eat oatmeal I get real hungry after a couple of hours. I think it's too many carbs and not enough protein for me. The breakfast that I get the most mileage out of is eggs, sausage and home fried potatoes. I'm sure you want to keep it quick and simple but I think you need to add sausage or eggs.
