Thank you for the answer! Just ordered the 200, I’m not planning on anything too long for now

Trying to decide on length. I am 5'11 and 175 without gear or pack. Would use for short tours (light daypack/Camelback) near Steamboat, CO. Leaning towards 200cm as that is what my E99's are that work well. I don't have great K & G technique. Thoughts from the group? I know some of.you have both lengths.

Bode Toad - When you ordered one pair of each length from Coleman's, did they charge you way more $$ for shipping than 2 pairs of same length? Another forum member from Steamboat is interested in buying some too, but he is after 210 and I am thinking 200 for myself.

Harms Way:

Colemans did not charge extra for mixing the 200 + 210 pairs. First use of the 210s worked out fine at Sugar Pine on West side of Lake Tahoe. We got 4 inches of fresh powder Saturday morning before dawn, on top of crusty base. For the afternoon warmth (30s F), I used Swix Red Silver on top of Vauti base. On the flat part of the biathlon course and in the nearby woods, the 210s worked well with Alpina 75 mm boots and Voile bindings. I probably will try the 210s next at ungroomed meadows off of Mount Rose Highway (431) north of Incline Village. I expect warm conditions.

Thanks for the advice. I just ordered 2 pair from Coleman's - 200cm for me and 210cm for a fellow TTalk member. Ended up placing order over the phone, as online would not let me order 2 sizes without 2x shipping.

My plan is to keep waxing simple - Polar V05 as binder/glide wax, with Blue or Blue Extra on top. If too warm for that, then will probably just use waxless skis I have.

My first thought was "those skis will teach you good kick and glide technique", regardless of which length you end up with :)

The second camber is pretty strong and it takes some mental energy at first to get the right K & G going with them. Cheaper than a ski lesson, too...

Unfortunately they’re not shipping to Canada right now or I’d have had some to play with as well...
Hi, I found them here:
https://www.herooutdoors.com/u-s-armed- ... hill-skis/
They ship from Ontario. Only size 200 though..

Also I’m new here and was looking for some information on these skis..I’m 6’2” and 180lbs would a 200 work for me?
Someone mentioned a size chart but I can’t find it anywhere.
Update: No, I didn’t find them in Canada.
I got the skis this week and they’re not the Asnes. Bummer!

Spent a couple of hours on the Moonshine Meadows, Euer Valley, Tahoe Danner. Temperature mainly in low 30s. Last snow was 7 days ago (probably a few inches), on a base of 48 inches. Used Vauhti base binder with Swix Polar kick wax as the "canvas" for the 210 cm Asnes USGIs, followed by "day of" Swix red/silver, which was supplemented every 45 minutes, as the crust scrubbed off the red/silver. Generally good grip and no slippage on the meadows.

So, the photos show Asnes skis, could you post a photo of what you received? Any markings on them?

@fgd135 there you go!
Just a label that says made in Canada..
I’ve been trying to reach out to them to return these and get the Asnes, if they have them, without success for now.
