Looks like Neptune received a new shipmen, with good selection of Asnes skis.
And is mostly out of the Fischers.

Re: Gear Basket
Thanks @Lo-Fi for the tip. This was a hell of a deal for this setup. I thought at first it was so good to be true but it was true. I thought that the XCD Guides and Annum were the same, but after a quick comparison with my friend Annum of the same length I noticed that the Annum have a rocker and seems slightly stiffer underfoot than the Guides. Is it just me or there is a difference? Those will replace my too short Objectives that I sold. Just need a lot of snow nowLo-Fi wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 4:58 pmClassic setup: Karhu Guides and Voile 3 pin cable. 185cm
(Virtually identical setup I’m using to faceplant in my avatar!)
$100 cad. (Worth it for probably another $100 shipping!)

I think the same person is listing some garmont excursions 27 for $100 too.

Re: Gear Basket
@Stephen so it was the shipmen that was doing a bad job so they hired a new one Its funny how a simple typo can completely change the meaning of a phrase
Re: Gear Basket
Hi everyone, just this morning the new Asnes Falketind 62 became available on the REI site (grip waxable). It's not for me, as hand disabilities and chemical sensitivities make grip-waxing not an option, and it has more sidecut than I seek, but sharing in case it's helpful:
https://www.rei.com/product/198925/asne ... s-20212022
They have it in 172 and 196 (it says "low inventory, order soon) so not sure how many pairs they have
Sharing 'cause I know gear is hard to find this year (I'd love for someone to let me know if they see Excursion 88 in 169 or Xplore bindings/boots available).

Re: Gear Basket
Ski Marches are back in stock on ebay. No 10,11, or 12s
Re: Gear Basket
ASNES AMUNDSEN 194 + NNNBC, somewhere in Québec. That's about half-price new, bindings mounted. If you're about 5'8", 175lbs, just the ticket.
