Didn’t deceive. All true. Didn’t say which sport… just “the sport”. Didn’t say what I was doing in any of the disciplines. Posted an open question to see what the responses would be… who would say “get ski x”, “effin newbie”… or offer nothing at all… or ask questions to dig into things. Let that spiral a bit… Big way to find out the nature of a site, respondents.

Lilcliffy won. Since joining haven’t read a thing by that guy that isn’t based on truth, understanding. Might not always agree 100%… but there’s no bullshit, ego.

Look for facts, truth, things that make sense instead of a messiah figure. Too many online.

Sadder dog that only wags its tail for others pleasure. Not a free dog anymore. A tamed pet.
Saddest dog that can only wag its tail alone. Happy dogs can join in with others' tailwagging.

Happiest days, best snow, greatest ski sessions happen when nobody is watching. You’re the same skier regardless of photos. So who are you taking pictures for… you or some master you hope will like you.
The happiness of solitude, and the happiness of of shared experiences are not mutually exclusive.
Though, those only knowing the former are a low STD risk.

Skiing is art and photography is art, it's only natural they go together. If skiing is just a sport to you, then I see your point.

Sport.
It can also be:
* Recreation
* Fitness
* Social Activity
* Transportation (e.g. skiing to school, to hunt, to provide national defense, etc.)
and more.

I can play the ukulele on anything up to doulbe black diamonds, but unfortunately can't take a photo at the same time. ;)
