It's not in the catalog so maybe it's just wishful thinking but there's little point in baiting such a small group of radicals. Maybe they just dropped the TXPro and renamed the T2 Eco...

Ahh, I see this has been around for a while. Probably some Russian plot to destabilize the West.

I agree that the F3 and T2X shells appear to be very similar apart from the toes, but the liners are very different. The T2X (or at least the red ones I bought in 2009) have an overlap liner, while the F3 liner has a tongue. The result is that the F3 flexes forward much more easily IME, and also fits (me) better, but YMMV with fit. I *do not* like overlap liners, and disliked the fore/aft stiffness of the T2X for touring; I replaced the stock very stiff tongues with modified Excursion tongues which helped somewhat but really I never got on with those boots, largely due to the overly pointy toe shape and resulting long term left big toe numbness. The F3 gave no foot trouble, and the flex (with AT bindings) was much better than with the T2X. I'm hoping to try the F3s with TTS bindings next winter here in Australia, and will report back if this happens. It'd be nice to think that Scarpa might one day release an updated NTN-ish and Meidjo-compatible boot with AT-like ankle flex for touring but I'll believe that if or when I see it...

Very interesting. I'd sure give this boot (revised TX Pro) a try if it ever becomes available. I like the fact that it is a 3 buckle boot, a bit lighter than the T2 (140 grams per boot) with a vastly improved ROM. I can't seem to find anything on Scarpa's site for the subject boot, but I did come across a 75 mm T1 that is "coming soon" on one of their European sites.

What I really want is a telemark version of their f1 lt at boot. I'll take a set of the fictious Photoshoped version on the bottom.

I'm not in the market for a beefier 75 mm boot, but I would love a revised lighter T2 or T4 class, preferably in tech/ntn. Maybe there is hope for some new telemark boots from Scarpa in the near future. This new TX pro would be a great starting point and I think it would be an amazing all-round boot and the perfect opportunity for me to remount my HyperVectors with a Lynx binding.
