-is the size guide accurate? I’ve seen a couple of comments that people ordering it in their usual size haven’t fared well. I’m usually a 44, using the Lundhag measurement puts me in a 42.
I'm a 44 in the old last and a 42 in the new last.

I just sent my old hiking boots back to the mothership for repairs and had to check!

Gotta stop coming on TTalk, it’s starting to cost me a small fortune 🤣

Think I gotta buy a new metric tape today (brought the old one along to compare).

I wore a 46 and then 47 nnnbc Alaskan. Suffered needlessly for years. Then I found some Expedition nnnbcs through a very kind forum member on this site. They are 46, made a couple years ago. I can easily wear two sock and still have room. Still experimenting with lacing, and the boots are not broken in yet. I have confidence that they will be great. Already the best fitting, best made boots I’ve used in 30 years. Been out for hours at 10 below and no achy cold feet! Finally.

Happy to hear you're doing well with these boots! :)
The concept of them is still weird to me but maybe one day I'll buy myself a pair in "my size" but I like my 3-pin rat trap bindings which Lundhags recommends against... :?
Left in the Lundhags lot and available: NNN-BC sizes 45 (2x) and 46 (1x) ; 75mm sizes 45 and 46.
(the "lot" was part of an auction lot which I took over together with a bunch of skis early this year)

I just got my old Lundhags Park boots back from the mothership with brand new rubbers in the new last.

They threw in a pair of new laces the same colour as my boots!

Every encounter I've had with Lundhags repairs and customer service has just been absurdly nice and personal. I was in communication with the actual guy who did the repairs. It's like 1892 and you have your valet return your leatherwear to your cobbler off Piccadilly Circus before you join the Royal Society of Explorers on a doomed expedition to the pole.

OK, so the new last! I'm a 44 in the old last and a 42 in the new.

The new last is fractionally less capacious at the toes, but with my feet it apparently makes no difference whatsoever. I have a wider forefoot, so I was a little anxious. But they fit basically the same. I'm wearing them as I write this, with two pairs of socks on (liner + thick Norwegian army socks) and they feel identical to my old boots I think.

I'll give up an update when I've worn them out into town.

Edit: I'm talking bullshit. The replacement lasts they gave me are the same as the old lasts! The new insoles are 44. And I looked underneath – and the footbed is sized 44 too. So the reason it makes no difference whatsoever is because in this case there is no difference whatsoever!

Big, big tour in my Lundhags today-
30cm of soft fresh snow over more than a metre of multilayered base-
over 25k- overhill and underhill-
not a breath of wind, not a snowmachine, not a harvester to be heard-
nothing but me, deep snow, forested hills, moose (all over the place), fisher, lynx, otter, barred owl, snowshoe hare, and red squirrel.
210 Combat NATO + Lundhags Expedition BC- wow-
if I had to have one set up for my local BC touring this would be it:

I am not aware of any NA dealers...
I have gotten the best prices from Varuste in Finland, and Outnorth in Sweden.
Can't speak for shipping to USA- but the shipping from Outnorth to CAN is unbeatable (ie cheaper than shipping from USA to CAN).

About Lundhags Guide (Expedition) boots in 75mm : I know the manufacturer strongly recommends cable bindings and doesn't want 3-pin rat traps to be used. But does anyone here use these boots with 3-pin bindings? I have several ski sets mounted with 3-pin rat traps and don't fancy swapping for cable bindings...
If 3-pin is a no go for these boots I'll just stick to my Alico Artic for now.
