Not my sale, but I would jump on these in a hurry if I were in Grand Junction. Maybe any locals can facilitate.

Re: Gear Basket
If anyone is looking for NNN-BC red flexors (Rottefella BC Flex 60 Shore Red) in Canada, skiwax.ca has them in stock this season:
https://skiwax.ca/products/zandstra-rot ... a941&_ss=r
(Norseman in Calgary told me they would order some, but did not).
Also Peltonen forest skis up to 270cm:

And probably the best inventory of all kinds of ski waxes anywhere in the world.

Varuste is having an "outlet" sale (I think these are either last year's models or returns) on Alfa Horizon NNN boots in many sizes at 178 Euro. AFAIK this is the only wide-lasted NNN boot being produced (don't listen to anyone that tells you Salomons "fit wide"...). It also happens to be one of the best designed NNN boots being produced.

F1's (I think?) In Banff for 30 dollars. I think these are popular with aficionados of a certain binding? Idk, it's beyond me

Re: Gear Basket
Do you know how the Horizon sizing compares to BC Alfa boots like Greenland/Skarvet? Are they just as big? I have a pair of size 43 Greenlands and they are huge, and I'm not sure if I need to size down on Horizons or not. I don't have wide feet and my regular shoe size is closer to 42.5, and the Greenlands feel more like a 44 boot to me, but I quite like the quality of Alfa gear and I'm in need for a NNN boot.Capercaillie wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 12:11 pmVaruste is having an "outlet" sale (I think these are either last year's models or returns) on Alfa Horizon NNN boots in many sizes at 178 Euro. Re: Gear Basket
I have Alfa Horizon (NNN), Guard (NNN-BC), and Skaget (Xplore), all listed as "wide" by Alfa, all in size 43. They all fit very similarly and have a consistent and accurate 43 length. I assume the Greenland/Skarvet is similar because it is also listed as "wide" on Alfa's website. The biggest difference with the Horizon is that the gaiter will not zip up all the way if you have large ankles.murska wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 4:21 pmDo you know how the Horizon sizing compares to BC Alfa boots like Greenland/Skarvet? Alfa makes 2 other NNN models in regular width that you might consider: https://www.alfa.no/collections/skisko Expensive at MSRP though.
