Looking for an inbounds ripping ski high 90s waist

Yeah, I'm not a comp guy but I am a TX Pro guy and I definitely bought a back-up pair in case the new one is shit.
I passed on a pair of TX's last year and I'm beating myself silly for not picking them up. Not making that mistake again. Just filling the house with boots.

Scarpa has never promised new boots without delivering!
I find it hard to believe Scarpa would reduce their boot options to a single boot less stiff than the Tx Pro. I've skied the Comp and the extra stiffness wasn't something I thought I needed and went back to the Pro for the tech fittings but find the Pro the Goldilocks boot.

I skied the T2 Eco, then the Tx on 185 cm Armada JJ's for a couple of years and thought both combos were fine. Even toured on them in the Wasatch above 8000', but that was way back when I was in my 50's. I'm too old for that now! I'm on the back 9 (maybe the back 3).

Dostie has been not-so-subtly hinting that it's more stiff than the current TXP, not less, especially the bellows. I'm not a heavy guy, the TXP is my limit as it stands.

I'm VERY excited about the extra offered length of 30.5/31.0, I'll be able to hopefully be more inline with the BoF like my T2's.

This could go either way, methinks. Best be prepared for disappointment.

Well, the secret to happiness is low expectations. I didn't find the difference between the Pro and Comp to be mind boggling once the bellows broke in, but edge control was slightly improved.

It's interesting how forward so many skis are mounted now (compared to 20yrs ago). It's one of the reason I really like the Kendos. The 184cm Kendo is mounted 80cm from tail-- about 11.5 from center if running a chord measurement (183cm). 11.5cm from center!!! With a good tail to stand on, lots of float up front, really sweet. Total confidence being forward and aggressive in soft snow.

You know the more I think about it the more redundant the high 90 waist is
If I'm happy 80% of the time on my 88-90mm waist I should make the jump to 105.
The issue is getting a soft flexing enough ski. I'm still pretty light, 170lbs and the mid 100 waisted skis can get pretty stiff. I'm ok on the Kendo with firm snow and dense powder but if it gets airy, I can't bend that thing, not enough resistance and the tip dives for the center of the earth.
So let's change the parameters, what's a softer, but not noodley 105ish waisted ski?
