wow thats sounds easy enough to try it on my next outing this weekend.
i've heard of triangle and square breathing but i'm afraid i'll pass out doing that at 8-9000 feet while exerting myself, your system sounds interesting

the only quick fix i found for heavy breathing issues and heart rate issues, during hard grueling climbs, was a pre-fasting off of solid foods prior for 1 month. I never seen such amaizing benefits to the human bodies potential when you stop eating food. i'ts an eye opener

Last week had a wonderful time in Finnish lapland, Pyhätunturi to be exact. 5 days of ski touring and one overnight hut trip. Got some much needed fresh snow on the second day and mostly bluebird days after that. Here's a short video from the trip.

Nice skiing, snow and terrain, and it looks like it was right out your door. Looks like a great time.

Thank you! Yes, in the beginning of the video you can see the hut we had rented for our overnight hut trip. It's located on the other end of the fell range in the heart of the national park, with only a few kilometers of flat terrain to cover before the fells start. It's pretty nice since the location makes it possible to ski all the 5 fells in one day.

That was at Hatcher Pass by the Independence Mine, about an hour north of Anchorage. It's an awesome place, it has everything from xc and skate skiing groomed trails to 40 degree slopes.

Thanks. My wife and I have been there a few times. Our older son and his wife are researchers for the University of Alaska (wildlife, invasive species and such). They have a yurt on a few acres near Sterling and a cabin out near Slana as well. The two times we hiked that area were in the summer. One of the prettier and more interesting hikes I've been on.

Gosh MSU, if you've got family up here you should come up for some skiing. March is a great time.
