The end of civilization

This is the place to debate politics, global warming, and yes, even the origin of man, whatever. Simply put, if you want to argue about off topic stuff, you've found the right board. Have fun!

Careful with that one foot in Canada stuff. I watch a video of bicycle tourist that tried to cross the border on gravel farm roads. Instantly arrested haha. Just be sneaky about it I guess
The Man don't ski
An outlaw ski traverse border jump from Glacier NP to Waterton would be epic
that would be fun, but dont talk about it on a public forum, otherwise Big Brother Ai will begin tracking you across all you digital devices

TMT is a pretty shady crowd, they’ve been watching us for years.

The end of civilization?
We (the U.S.) are currently at war with Russia.
I don't have any idea who is currently in charge in the U.S. If it is Biden, when he gave Ukraine permission to fire ATACMS into Russia, it wasn't permission for Ukrainians to do so. Those missiles are not typically targetable by anyone other than U.S. troops.
I expect we have U.S. troops doing the targeting.
So, in mid-November, a senile president leaving office decided (or someone did) it was time to start a hot war with a nation with thousands of nuclear weapons that can hit anywhere on the planet.
The U.K. at least, is holding out on allowing Storm Shadows to be used.

I lived through the Cuban Missile Crisis. I was in a 3-carrier flotilla that hauled ass toward Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the Soviet Pacific fleet headquarters to test their (and our) war fighting capabilities. We are closer to global warming (to the tune of 100 million degrees Kelvin) than I've ever seen!

Want to see what Russia's hypersonic missile vehicles look like without any explosives - just kinetic?

Here ya go! The fun starts about 1:25

Merry Christmas!

"We (the U.S.) are currently at war with Russia."

Try and be a little inclusive Montana, "we" means Canada and every other NATO country according to protocol, does it not? And Justin Trudeau has been meekly antagonizing Russia from his place of safety.

"We are all in this together", like the pandemic. Exciting times!

Guess my hopes to visit there someday are likely derailed. Their new "hickory" medium range missiles supposedly can reach London in 15 minutes and there are no means of intercepting or defending against them (unless such means exist but are kept absolutely secret).

Just a wee bit reckless, even treasonous, action from "Joe Biden."

Yeah. The media seems to be happy with this insanity in the U.S. I've been wrong plenty of times in my life. Hopefully I'm wrong about this. The good news is I'm old enough that I don't need to stock up on iodine tablets!

the media is pushing ww3 and nukes on to the general public, to scare us all... this whole USA vs Russia is nothing but good cop bad cop game.
we the USA work in secret with Russia on many projects around the world. not many people see the forest for the trees.

any opinions on why ground zero at Hiroshima, Nagasaki are not radioactive and un-livable? If we can fake the moon landings, then why not fake the nukes... Me thinks, we westerners like to be deceived by the media and our leaders :o

It is with considerable sadness that I have to conclude this debacle is largely the fault of America's policies and lack of meaningful leadership, though Boris was instrumental in ensuring any peace processes would be abandoned. But yes, "we" includes us all.

It's ok. No blame here. Not even the folks that have been cheerleading this conflict for years. I pray for their military aged offspring
