Riding the hide
www.alicosport.it/TELEMARK%20BOOT.htm
Any ski any of these or bought from this site?
Thinking Blaze or Teletour for blueish b/c on light 72mm waisted skis.
Don't know why really. Have T4's but leather would pair nicely on below woodies but.....
... the inside edge of these spilt edges protrude above running surface of ski at bottom of tip curve. Don't seem like the screws have backed out. Has the ptex shrunk? 56 yrs old skis.
Can be resurrected or wall hangers only?

Altai is selling Alico boots in North America: https://us-store.altaiskis.com/product/ ... -3-models/
You can fix the high edges by having a shop grind the bases flat. That will also expose good plastic that will hold wax.

Re: Riding the hide
Those split edges are so thin I think one would end up grinding away most of the screw heads in some places if you tried taking them down far enough to expose new p tex.
Fortunately or unfortunately that's mostly right at the up sweep to the tip.
Might have to remove and re-screw, though the screws are tight don't know why it sprung proud.
meh....
Thanks for link but boots stiff enough for blues gotta' be black like.....

Re: Riding the hide
I bought a pair of Alicos from Altai to try on. The fit was so weird, I don't understand how any person could fit into them.
