Drones and drones and drones, oh my!

This is the place to debate politics, global warming, and yes, even the origin of man, whatever. Simply put, if you want to argue about off topic stuff, you've found the right board. Have fun!

Drones and drones and drones, oh my!

Post by Montana St Alum » Fri Dec 13, 2024 7:43 pm

This could have been in "The end of civilization", I suppose. But there are so many things that can do that, from Ozempic, to thermonuclear annihilation.

It appears that drones from another galaxy, controlled by the Ayatollah have been loosed upon the Blue states

Reports of drained batteries and confiscation of toilet paper abound.

But damn. What is going on?

IDK, that was a bit tongue in cheek. I think the sightings are in Maryland, N.J., and NY along the east coast. But it sure is weird!
Apparently, the sightings in Minnesota have been attributed to Walz trying on his Liberace outfit and dancing.
Not that there's anything wrong with that!

In WWII, Japan built the I-400 class of subs that could hold two float planes. Maybe someone decided to try it with drones off the coast.

Sounds to me like typical American Psyop stuff but it's pretty interesting all the same. Just glad Canada doesn't have to share in the embarrassment like the weather balloon fiasco

Federal Officials insist that there is "no evidence" of any danger and to ignore it. Kinda like how when there was no evidence of existential threat from a new flu strain they didn't shut everything down and thereby cause far more harm. Oh wait.

That's interesting. Maybe they're "allowing" spy drones to collect Intel in order to amplify security threats. Nothing like a good existential threat to rally up the economy

Whatever you do, don't go down the The Blue Beam Project rabbit hole.

Update, now Kirby says they haven't confirmed these things even exist. But they can assure us they aren't a threat. How this reasoning is possible is beyond me.

The latest speculation (which could go in the "End of civilization" thread} is that these are HPGe drones.
So, are we looking for radioactive material along the eastern seaboard?
