Got these for ten bucks at my local REI today--I've used the old version of these with snaps and grommets/bootlace for the bottom strap for ages with nnnbc boots and thought it was time for an upgrade: https://www.outdoorresearch.com/product ... ers-243097

Those are just lovely! I remember my first pair of buckle boots from that era; they were the coolest thing ever at the time.

The TX was the best ski boot ever, in my opinion. I jumped on a pair of these in 2017, when I heard they were being discontinued, mostly because I couldn’t stand my TX Pro, which felt like boat anchors because of the four buckles. They’re still going strong and are super comfortable.
