Cheap Army Surplus Climbing Skins
Has anyone used these? These are made by Black Diamond and at 210 cm x 60mm they seem like they would fit some of my XCD skis pretty well. I was thinking of ordering a couple pairs but at $9 a pair plus taxes and shipping I was up to $38, which isn't nothing. I was just curious if anyone can confirm that these aren't garbage. I’ve used the black ones they show, they’ll climb pretty much anything. Glide is okayish but you’ll be working it.
The other onesvwith the cool pattern looks hellacious cool.

Why spend all that Yanqui dollar on beat up used skins when a brand new pair of similar Black Diamond/Ascensions can be had for less than $14 with free shipping?
These are excellent quality, brand new in the bag. I buy a few pair every season, just for gifts.

Somehow missed the used part, mine were new old stock from eBay.
Re: Cheap Army Surplus Climbing Skins
I have the patterned ones posted above, they are awesome. I've never used any other skins, so I have nothing to compare to, but when I go up, they go up, and when I go down, they go down slowly.
