When I lived in Japan I used YamaReco for almost all of my area reconnaissance prior to visiting to hike, fish, or ski. All these years later I still get a kick out of drooling over some of the trips reported there. I noticed that it's never been mentioned on this forum before, so I thought I'd share... In case anyone is thinking about going to Japan or just wants to dream about trip ideas it's a pretty cool site.
